Caregiving is tough, and this first session of our monthly support group is all about having real, open conversations about the challenges we face. We’re going to dive into what moral injury and moral distress really mean, how these issues show up in our lives as caregivers, and how they affect our decisions and the well-being of our loved ones. This is a space to connect with others who get it, share your experiences, and start building a supportive community.
We’ll begin by discussing what moral injury and distress are and how they impact us. Then, we’ll open up the floor for everyone to share their experiences—how these challenges have shaped your life, influenced your caregiving, and affected your loved one’s well-being. These discussions remind us of the delicate balance we navigate in caregiving, where our outer actions may conflict with our inner truth.
Registration is required to join our support groups, which are offered at no cost. We want to ensure that everyone who wishes to participate has a place in our circle, where we come to share, connect, and grow together.
This support group is a space for mutual support and connection. It is not intended to provide medical advice or to replace professional care. For any medical concerns, please consult with a healthcare provider.
